Mick Chegwidden’s tasty mando, guitar, dobro and banjo licks have been rocking stages big and small for over two decades now.  Born in Bethlehem, PA, a small town nestled in the Alleghanys, this player cut his teeth on old time country and hillbilly music. He played his first gig at the age of seven and has answered the call to the stage ever since. Regardless of style or instrument, Mick’s distinctive sound stands out in every song he performs.

Mick is one of the fortunate few who get to do what they're passionate about for a living. He arrived on the scene in Portland, OR at age 19 and has been a perennially working musician ever since. He has preformed in numerous bands that have shared the stage with so many talented performers including: Chis Ledoux, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Brian White, Joe Nichols, Charles Neville, Blake Shelton, Tony Furtado, Willy Mac, and Kelly Joe Phelps.
 
Mick recently left the Great Pacific Northwest behind to come home to Country's promised land!
His musical soul is rooted in Counrty, Americana and Bluegrass but his talents have brought him expericence with many genres including Rock, Funk, Jazz, Punk, Latin, African Highlife, Irish, Folk, and all sorts of Roots Music (including Mick's personal fave Urban-Billy!)

*Mick has tons of studio recording under his belt as well as several live radio and tv performances including the a 2007 performance on KEXP's Audioasis with and several recent San Diego live TV and radio performances. Most recently, Mick, with MBE,  completed a 2 1/2 month stint as the official house band for KSON’s Hometown Handshake Tour (San Diego's No. 1 Country Radio Station). Additionally, MBE has been featured on NBC, FOX, KUSI and in San Diego Union-Tribune’s STREET, 944 magazine, San Diego Magazine and Living In Style magazine…just to name a few!
